SPECIAL BOOKS The Monday Club - helping the disabled Darren Sutherland is raising funds for The Monday Club, which carries out an outstanding role in the community taking disabled persons out on trips and providing them with opportunities that they simply wouldn't be able to achieve otherwise. The Monday Club allows for their dedicated carers, parents, etc to have a well earned break. I donated copies
of Brodie's adventure to Darren to help with his fund-raising. The
books were uniquely doodled on by
me (see below) and
were raffled as a pair by Darren as part of his fund-raising
activities and Parachute Jump on 16 June 2007.
The Brodie McHaggis books have already raised funds in the 2006
and 2007 MFR
Charity auctions, and with these books being uniquely ‘doodled’
and dedicated to The Monday Club, they will almost certainly have a
unique value. Brodie
McHaggis and the Secret of Loch Ness is a Second Edition print.
Brodie McHaggis and the Curse of the Scotch Mist is a First
Edition print, Number 108 of 300. Only
the first 300 were signed, numbered and dated.
